Nicklecade.....

On Jan 21st it was our anniversary, we both had the day off for presidents day so we took the boys out to lunch and then to the nicklecade! It was alot of fun! Here are some pictures!

The big day!

May 13th is the big day, my doctor is going to induce me that day unless I go before that! That is six weeks from today! Crazy! I am getting so nervous now thinking what the heck did I get myself into? My baby will be 6 years old in August, will I remember how to take care of a baby. They say it is different when it is your own and that it all comes back to you but I don't know. I was at the doctor's office yesterday and this baby was crying and part of me was like oh I want a baby and the other part of me was like shut that baby up, that is so annoying and then I was like oh no what if that is me, what if I can't comfort my baby! Aghhhghghgh I guess I am just getting nervous cuz it is getting closer but I am sure I will be ok.

We are trying to finish our basement so we have room for all of us and all my baby stuff is just sitting in the corner of my room right now. I think when we can get moved around and I can actually set up the nursery I will feel a little more prepared! I have been trying to help out with as much as I can but there is only so much they will let a pregnant lady do, hehe I am just thankful Arlund has great friends! Mike and Steve have been over helping out alot and Arlund's Dad has come over as well. Without them we would be so behind! There is still alot of work to do but it is coming together nicely! Hopefully in the next few weeks we can get it all together so we can be ready for this little one!

Little update on the rest of the family:
Kayden is in the 2nd grade, he turned 8 in August and started in the Boy Scouts and just loves it! He enjoys playing with his friends and xbox with his Dad and brother! He is pretty good for an 8 year old, hehe! He also loves to draw and is very good at that too!

Derek turned 5 in August and is going to graduate from pre-school next month and is so excited for Kindergarten! Even more excited now that we found out the first day of Kindergarten is on his birthday! He enjoys playing outside and likes to play his gameboy. He also enjoys playing xbox with his Dad and brother!

Both are so excited for their new little brother. He does not have a name yet and they both like to ramble off random names to me to see if I like them. Well can't wait to post pictures of the new little one! Let's see if I can be a little better at keeping this blog updated in April!

3D Ultrasound pictures

I had a 3D ultrasound. It was the first one I had ever had. It was a little freaky but totally amazing! Here are a few pictures they gave me.

This is of his profile. The tech reassured me the black spot is just from the camera, :) I think he looks just like Derek in this picture, it's the nose!

We survived Christmas!!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! We did for sure! It was the longest day ever but we made it! It all started Christmas eve, with two anxious boys who did not want to go to bed, but finally about 10 pm were out. Around 3:30 in the morning Arlund could hear them in their room talking so not knowing what time it was he went in there and told them they could get up and to come get in bed with me. When I told him it was 3:30 he said he thought it was later so he told the boys to go back to sleep. Yeah right! Finally around 4:15 we just got up because it was helpless! We had Christmas and got dressed and were on the road to the Grandparents house by 5:45 am. We made it there right about the time everyone there was getting up. It was a great Christmas, just a long one because we were all tired all day! It was nice to just lounge around all day but the holiday went to fast. Hope everyone has a happy new year! I will post pictures later! I got a new digital camera for Christmas so it will be easier to post pictures now! Yeah!

For those of you who didn't hear Arlund and I are expecting in May! We just found out yesterday that it is a boy! We are so excited! I am happy I can now buy stuff! Since my youngest is 5 1/2 I gave away a lot of my baby stuff so now I get to buy new stuff. I have been looking for crib sets for the nursery and it has been a lot of fun. At least now I know what color of stuff to buy lol! I will post pictures later!

Halloween

Hi everyone, so it has been awhile since I have posted, sorry! One reason is because my digital camera broke and they told me it would cost as much to fix it as it would just to buy a new one. And Two, I don't think anyone reads this anyways so I forget to post! hehe! Here are some fun pictures from Halloween this year!

I took the boys trick or treating at my work, we do it every year and they totally score!

This one is Arlund as an inmate with a mullet. We went to a party Saturday night and everyone thought he was Martha Stewart, hehe!

We had a good Halloween. We partied with Travis and Amy Saturday night, the kids got to break a pinata, we did trunk or treat and Amy gave out awards for all the kids. I made eyeball taco's. They were way cute! Monday night we carved pumpkins with Grandma and Grandpa Lewis. Then on Halloween we went trick or treating at my work in the morning and Derek had a Halloween party at preschool. I went as a parent helper. My kids have so much candy we are all going to gain 15 pounds, hehe! YUCK!!
