We survived Christmas!!
Hope everyone had a great Christmas! We did for sure! It was the longest day ever but we made it! It all started Christmas eve, with two anxious boys who did not want to go to bed, but finally about 10 pm were out. Around 3:30 in the morning Arlund could hear them in their room talking so not knowing what time it was he went in there and told them they could get up and to come get in bed with me. When I told him it was 3:30 he said he thought it was later so he told the boys to go back to sleep. Yeah right! Finally around 4:15 we just got up because it was helpless! We had Christmas and got dressed and were on the road to the Grandparents house by 5:45 am. We made it there right about the time everyone there was getting up. It was a great Christmas, just a long one because we were all tired all day! It was nice to just lounge around all day but the holiday went to fast. Hope everyone has a happy new year! I will post pictures later! I got a new digital camera for Christmas so it will be easier to post pictures now! Yeah!

It's a boy!!!!
For those of you who didn't hear Arlund and I are expecting in May! We just found out yesterday that it is a boy! We are so excited! I am happy I can now buy stuff! Since my youngest is 5 1/2 I gave away a lot of my baby stuff so now I get to buy new stuff. I have been looking for crib sets for the nursery and it has been a lot of fun. At least now I know what color of stuff to buy lol! I will post pictures later!

Halloween
Hi everyone, so it has been awhile since I have posted, sorry! One reason is because my digital camera broke and they told me it would cost as much to fix it as it would just to buy a new one. And Two, I don't think anyone reads this anyways so I forget to post! hehe! Here are some fun pictures from Halloween this year!
This is me and the boys at my work, Derek was the Grinch, Kayden was a Ninja Turtle and I was a Flapper girl!
I took the boys trick or treating at my work, we do it every year and they totally score!
This is a picture of my brother Logan and his wife Margaret! It was so funny I just had to post it! Way cute! I wish I could of saw this in person!
This one is Arlund as an inmate with a mullet. We went to a party Saturday night and everyone thought he was Martha Stewart, hehe!
We had a good Halloween. We partied with Travis and Amy Saturday night, the kids got to break a pinata, we did trunk or treat and Amy gave out awards for all the kids. I made eyeball taco's. They were way cute! Monday night we carved pumpkins with Grandma and Grandpa Lewis. Then on Halloween we went trick or treating at my work in the morning and Derek had a Halloween party at preschool. I went as a parent helper. My kids have so much candy we are all going to gain 15 pounds, hehe! YUCK!!

Payson Onion Days
We took the kids to the fair in Payson over Labor Day. Derek wanted to ride all the rides that flipped and went upside down but unfortunately he was too small. Kayden wanted nothing to do with them. He is not fond of that stuff.
This is Derek and I on the Ferris Wheel. You could see clear over the trees. I am not fond of heights so it was making me a little nervous! Derek was upset because our cars didn't flip upside down! Other than that he loved it!
The boys also went through a maze and rode on the dragon roller coaster. Then we went and got a scone. They make the best scones at Onion Days!

Waterfight
Our niece's Kailey and Kenra came to stay with us for a few days to help out and keep the boy's company while I was recovering from surgery! This is some pictures of a huge waterfight they had! They had alot of fun!
Kayden and Kailey each had their own hoses while Derek hid in the fort the whole time eating a popcicle.
Kenra and Kayden tried to team up against Kailey! Kayden even tried to squirt me!
Afterwards they all sat on the deck and ate popcicles!
This is when Derek decieded to join the waterfight, after it was over! HEHE!

Superbikes
So it has been awhile since I last wrote! Alot has happened since then! This is one thing that we did that I have to share because it was really neat! I won tickets on the radio to the new Larry H. Miller speedway in Tooele to watch the superbikes. When we got there we were amazed at how big the track was and what awesome seats we had. You could see the whole track where we were sitting and the motorcycles came right in front of us!
(Guy right, bike left, ouch)
There was a sharp corner and we saw at least three wrecks right there.
On the outside of the race they had alot of booths and trailers selling stuff. There was these guys riding there bikes when we first got there. They were doing all sorts of amazing tricks! The boys thought that was pretty cool!
Then when we were getting ready to leave they had a show. It was a guy on a trials bike. He was the 10 time champion and he was really good. He jumped a guy long ways. He could just pick his bike up and jump on top of trailers and stuff, that bike has to weigh alot! And his feet never touch the ground, he said it is all about balance! Definetly not for me I am a clutz! The whole day was tons of fun! I would like to go back again and watch the mini karts!

Our trip to Disneyland!
We took the boys to Disneyland over spring break in April! It was a surprise trip! They did not know we were going until we got to the airport! They were so exited! We started planning for the trip in Feb. and it was very hard keeping it a secret. It was the first time the boys had rode on an airplane. Arlund's parents and brother Jason came with us. It was Jason's first time flying too! Derek loved to fly, it made him giggle! Kayden didn't care for it much!
We spent our first day in the Disneyland park. Some of our favorite rides were Pirate's of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Indiana Jones. Arlund and the boy's favorite ride was the tea cups which he got us spinning so fast I thought I was going to puke! HEHE!
By mid afternoon Derek was totally worn out! We stayed to watch the parade later that night. It was very cold, Grandma bought the boys a jacket!
The second day we drove to San Diego and went to Sea World! I had never been to Sea World so I was just as excited as the boys were! We got to pet a dolphin, hold star fish and watch many shows were we saw Shamu, Dolphins, Sea Otters, Sea Lions, and a Walrus perform. There was also a pet show that was pretty fun with dogs and cats in it! The last thing we did was ride on the Shipwreck Rapids and we all got totally soaked and then we had to ride an hour and a half back to the hotel totally wet! When we got back to our hotel we went swimming. We ate at Red Robin twice while we were on vacation, it was right next to our hotel. That is Arlund's favorite restaurant.
Our third day was spent mostly in the rain, but we still had fun! We went to California Adventure's this day. We spent as much time as we could indoors. We saw Disney Playhouse, The Muppet's and we also went to a bugs life 3-D show. Derek is very adventurous! He is not scared of anything. He was a little bummed when we found out he was too little to ride the rollarcoaster, but his favorite ride the whole trip was the Tower of Terror. This is us in the front row (picture above). I was like agghhhh, but Derek and Arlund were laughing the whole time! Kayden on the other hand was not so adventurous. We usually had to beg or trick him to get on the rides but after the ride was over he enjoyed it! (Can you see Kayden and Derek in the bear picture above? It took me a minute to find Kayden, hehe!)
After dinner we were going to take the boy's back to Disneyland to watch the fireworks but they were falling asleep eating their dinner so Grandpa and Grandma offered to go back to the room with them and Arlund and I got to go back by ourselves to watch fireworks. We rode on a few rides and then went back! It was great to have a couple of hours to ourselves!
Our final day was spent mostly in Toontown! The boys got to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse! On our way to Toontown we got to see Mickey climbing the Matterhorn! I spent the last day in and out of the restrooms! I was very sick! We then went out to Downtown Disney to go shopping. The boys had some money to spend, I thought maybe a T-shirt or something, but they ended up buying some play cars from the movie Cars and a big sucker!
