Hanging with Family

We went to Clearfield/Sunset for Blake's blessing a few weekend's ago (I'm a little slow at posting.) We hung out at Travis & Amy's house for a bit. It was really cold and rainy and the kids were having a blast playing outside. I went to Amy's work and had her do my hair. We put red, bronze and purple in it and it was alot of fun! I love it!!! Then we hung out and played Wii and had pizza. I wish we didn't all live so far apart so we could do it more often!

Girls Night Out!!!

Every year my mother & sister-in-laws go on a girls night out. It usually falls late October, first of November. We get a hotel room, go Christmas shopping, to dinner and just have a good time. This year we went to the Witchapalooza at Gardner Village. It is a fun dinner theater with really good food and lots of singing! Then we went shopping and us girls got to pick out our Christmas pj's. Tradition every year that we look forward too! Then back to the hotel to hang out in the hot tub! It was an extra special year because all the brother's are now married and we were glad to have Mandy come with us this year! We had so much fun going to a show that we decided we need to do something like that every year! I look forward to next year! I couldn't ask for better in-laws! Love them all! This is a picture of us at the dinner show!

Carving Pumpkins

Jason & Mandy came over as well as Arlund's parents and we carved pumpkins. We had dinner first then carved our pumpkins. We had a good time!

Tagged...

Ok so this is my first tag, that I've noticed lol!
I am to go to my 4th folder and take the 4th picture.

The picture is me when I was little, so I thought I'd make the best of this tag. I found this picture because I have had alot of people tell me that Brandon looks like me, so I posted a picture of him as well, you be the judge!

I'm just getting used to blogging but I guess I have to "tag" people so I tag:
Leslie, Amy, Sam & Cass (If they all even read this, lol)

Jumperoo!

My sister-in-law let us borrow their jumperoo. When we first put Brandon in it his toes didn't quite reach so we had to put a pillow under him and he would just sit in it playing with the toys. Now that he is a little bigger, his toes finally reach the ground and he has figured out that you can jump in it. He goes nuts! Watch it's hilarious!

September 2008

So it's been awhile since last post. It's been a little crazy at our house lately. We've had sick kids. Kayden had the stomach flu and missed 2 days of school. Brandon had a double ear infection, throat infection and fluid in his lungs so we had to do breathing treatments, and it took 3 doctor visits and a new doctor to figure all that out! Then Arlund and I both got the stomach flu! So yeah it's been a good week! lol! Anyways...just wanted to post a few pictures from things that happened over the last month. Enjoy....

Deer Hunt Sept 2008

Arlund took the boys and went hunting. He got a little spike but was way excited! He likes to make sausage and jerky and all that yucky stuff! It looks like it was really pretty where they went. The boys had a blast!!

They enjoyed some 4-wheeling

The boys built a bridge

They liked hiking around!

Campsite, Arlund built a sword with a chainsaw!

Picking Apples in Ephraim Sept 28, 2008

While Arlund and the boys were gone, Brandon and I paid a visit to Grandpa & Grandma Ray's house. On Sunday Julie and Curtis came out and we picked apples! It was alot of fun!

First day of Kindergarten!!

Today is a very special day, not only did Derek start kindergarten today, but it is also his birthday! He was so excited this morning, he had a huge grin all morning. It is also my birthday today and the other day he said the cutest thing. He said how come we always celebrate my birthday on our birthday and not yours? How come we never have a party with cake and ice cream and presents for you? How cute huh! Anyways I am so proud of him!

At home before school

Derek found where he was suppose to sit and was excited to see what he had in his basket.

They had to put their name on the board of how old the were and Derek was the only 6 year old, he thought that was pretty neat. They also had name tags that they had to wear.
